Project +10 Students PTM &
New Students Admission Survey

Parent Teacher MeetingÂ
On February 16th, social workers Ms. Christina and Ms. Pushpa held a meeting with the parents of Project +10 students. They reviewed the rules and regulations and gave feedback on their children's performance for this academic year. They also informed the parents that the students must work hard and strive to do better in the final examination for the year 2023-24. They urged the parents to take responsibility to help their children improve their grades.
New Students For 2024-25 Admission Survey
As part of the new admissions process for K3 & K4 classes for the academic year 2024-25, our social work team, Ms. Christina and Ms. Pushpa, visited the slums and met with the parents of children aged 3 to 6 years. They explained the vision and benefits of educating their children and assessed their eligibility based on the selection criteria. The children who were selected were then invited to the school, where they interacted with the teachers and took a screening test on some basic skills and abilities which was also part of the selection process. Our Building Blocks centers welcome these children to join us.
Anko Sports Day, Clothes & Stationary Gifts

ANKO TEAM organized sports activities for our K4 and K5 students. 52 students participated in the event. They played games like throwing balls into baskets, ball toss, running race, and in and out. The children had a lot of fun at the sports event. The winners received medals according to their ranks: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. The children also enjoyed snacks like juice and bananas, and lunch was served to them.
On February 27th, ANKO TEAM sponsored stationery items and clothes for our PPT students from 1st grade to 10th grade. 36 children received pencils, sharpeners, erasers, books, crayons, pens, boxes, geometry sets, paints, coloring books, cursive writing books, story books, and clothes. The parents and children were happy and grateful for the gifts.
Project +10 Students Visit To Finastra Company

The students of Project + 10 had a chance to visit Finastara, a company that welcomed them to their office space. They were shown around the office, including the workstations, conference rooms, training rooms and other areas. They also listened to a talk in the training room about the company's operations and processes. The students felt inspired by the possibility of working there someday. The company had arranged some activities and a meal for the students as well. The students were also given a gift hamper. It was an inspiring and envisioning day for all the young students.
Founder James' Birthday

February 26th is Building Blocks' favorite day!! It's James sir's birthday! Mr. James has done an incredible job of starting and running this organization that helps hundreds of children. The children and the staff adore him immensely.
On the 24th he was tricked into attending an "NGO Meeting" that was a surprise party thrown by the entire staff of Bangalore Building Blocks centers.
