Teacher's Day Celebration/Outing

We are excited to share the latest updates from Building Blocks, where joy, learning, and community spirit are always in full bloom. Recently, our young learners showed their progress through assessment tests, followed by an engaging parent-teacher meeting. Our dedicated teachers enjoyed a rejuvenating outing on Teachers' Day, fostering camaraderie and fun. We also celebrated the vibrant Onam festival, filling our school with colors, laughter, and cultural richness. With regular fun activities, our school continues to be a place of hope and happiness for our incredible children. Let's celebrate these moments together!

Assessment Tests

For our Kindergarten children, we conducted the first term assessment for the academic year 2024 from 9th to 14th September. The assessments spanned various subjects, including Math, English, Kannada, Social Science, and Moral Science. Each day, the young learners were engaged in evaluating their understanding and skills in these fundamental areas. The tests were designed to be age-appropriate and aimed at identifying the progress each child has made, as well as areas where additional support may be needed. Overall, it was a comprehensive evaluation to ensure a solid foundation for their ongoing educational journey.

Parent Teacher Meeting

After completing the assessment tests, we held a parent-teacher meeting on 21st September for our K3, K4, and K5 students. The parents were delighted to see their children's performance in the report cards, as well as the assessment papers and various activities. It was a joyful occasion, filled with proud moments as parents reviewed their children's achievements and progress. This collaborative event allowed for meaningful conversations between teachers and parents, fostering a stronger educational partnership.

Teacher's Day Celebration/Outing

On the occasion of Teachers' Day, we treated all our teachers from the Bangalore centers to a fun-filled outing at a resort. The journey itself was lively, with teachers enjoying games and laughter on the bus ride. At the resort, they enjoyed swimming in the pool, kayaking, playing volleyball, dancing in the rain, and savoring delicious meals. The day was packed with activities like Housie, allowing for incredible bonding moments with teachers from other centers, as well as the management and head office teams. It was a well-deserved time for all our dedicated teachers to come together, relax, and have a blast.

The teachers from the centers outside Bangalore had a delightful experience. Each received gifts in recognition of their dedication to teaching the children. A special meal was organized for them, and the teachers at their respective centers also enjoyed a fun time.

Onam Festival Celebrations

On 14th September, we celebrated the vibrant Onam festival across our centers. The children wore colorful dresses, and the staff adorned traditional Onam sarees. The school was beautifully decorated with flowers and intricate Pookalam designs. We started the day with a special breakfast of Paruppu Payasam, enjoyed by both children and staff. The K5 students delivered a heartfelt speech on the significance of Onam, and all classes—K3, K4, and K5—participated in themed art and craft activities. It was a day filled with joy and cultural immersion, celebrating the essence of Onam together.
